Description

The new Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport (2020) makes it clear at first glance: it takes the incredible performance to a new level. Inspired by historic Bugatti mountain racing cars, the Pur Sport is designed to develop a new dimension of lateral dynamics on winding country roads. In contrast to the other Chiron models, which are primarily designed for speed without neglecting comfort, the Pur Sport - as the name suggests - takes a purer, more uncompromising approach. For the first time in series production, Bugatti offers a horizontal split paint finish. Here the visible carbon of the body is partially painted, so that the side is optically split horizontally. The lower, darker part of the Chiron Pur Sport visually blends with the road in terms of color tone and now appears even flatter and more dynamic. Optional aerodynamic wheels with Aero Blades provide better cooling of the brakes and minimize air resistance. The Aero Blades produce air suction, pull the heat from the brakes outwards and place the air flow tightly against the bodywork, which discharges it towards the rear. Although the engine output of the W16 with its four turbochargers remains at 1500 hp, the engineers have noticeably slimmed down the Hypercar. This was achieved thanks to a new titanium exhaust system, lighter brakes, reworked rims and a fixed rear wing.
