The coin is to be minted in a Brilliant Uncirculated condition. All coins in the popular series feature an investment-grade purity of .9999 fine silver, a face value of $5 and a reverse design showcasing a Canadian wildlife theme.

Paying tribute to Canada's largest mammal, the latest Wildlife Series coin features a mature moose standing in tall grass. Inscriptions include CANADA, 9999 FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, ARGENT PUR and the initials WW for the designer of the scene, Senior Royal Canadian Mint Engraver William Woodruff. The obverse side depicts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as created in 2003 by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt.
